Quick Sigorta's agency meeting with the theme "As We Promised" was held with intense participation

The event, which was hosted by the theater performer Hakan Bilgin, started with an interview with Maher Holding Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Mahmut Erdemoğlu. The event continued with the launch of Quick Finans after a meeting where information was shared about the company's fulfillment of the promises it made to its agencies within a 5-year period, and ended the next day with the Quick Sigorta award night and the gala dinner with Fettah Can.

Quick Sigorta, after starting its operations in 2017, had decided to build a school with the savings it obtained by not organizing the agency meeting, with the approval of its agencies. The official opening of this Gülseren-Hüseyin Doğan Elementary School, which was built using the said savings, was held on November 24th. The very next day, Quick Sigorta held its first agency meeting with broad participation of more than 500 agencies from 81 provinces.

Travelling with Two Private Planes and Baklava Surprise

Quick Sigorta has brought its agencies from every corner of Türkiye to Alanya Gazipasa Airport with two private planes of Turkish Airlines (THY). Agencies were taken from the airport to Mahmutlar, Alanya by private buses, where they attended the official opening ceremony of Quick Sigorta Gülseren-Hüseyin Doğan Elementary School. Along with the school opening ceremony, another surprise in the event that lasted for 4 days was the baklava treat. The baklavas, specially brought from İmam Çağdaş Restaurant in Gaziantep by Maher Holding Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Mahmut Erdemoğlu, were served both at the school opening and at the agencies meeting.

In the first phase of the meeting, which lasted a full day, an interview was held with Maher Holding Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Mahmut Erdemoğlu, hosted by the theater performer Hakan Bilgin. Mr. Erdemoğlu, who started his speech by describing his father's career starting from carpet loom business and becoming an industrialist from thereof, explained that he started working in his father's businesses during the summer holidays while he was still a student. “Of course, there was no positive discrimination against me as 'the son of the boss', I would be treated the same as every worker was treated”, he said, and shared that this is how the foundations of his perspective in business life were laid.

Mr. Erdemoğlu said that he always considers his father Mehmet Erdemoğlu's advices: “Never lie. Never shy away from honesty. Do not scold or despise anyone. Do not interfere in anyone's business. Do not try to break any finished deal. Make your payments at the time you promised. Pay your workers before their sweat dries. Do not lower the price of the work you have already negotiated at the time of payment. Word once spoken is past recalling. Do not come back from a concluded trade agreement even if you lose money. Protect your business, your people, your country, your state and your flag. Always protect your family. Do not abandon your spouse, friends and relatives. Do not turn away anyone who comes knocking at your door. Know the other as yourself, treat the other as yourself. Wealth has no limits, it has rewards. Be tolerant of everyone.” 

I'm glad I have entered this business with this team

Explaining that he left his position in his family business in 2015 and came to Istanbul from Gaziantep to make investments in another industry, Mr. Erdemoğlu continued his words as follows: “I met Mr. Levent Uluçeçen in Istanbul and decided to enter the insurance industry. As a matter of fact, the industry had hit rock bottom at the time I decided to establish the company. We made a rapid entry into the industry with the prediction that this bottoming out will be reversed with a leap. Establishing companies is easy, but the most important criterion is the team. We have a team of experts working in harmony with each other, especially our orchestra maestro Mr. Uluçeçen. No matter how much technology develops, it is still people who use it. In this respect, it is very fortunate to find people with the same principles and work ethic. At the point we have reached today, when I look back at these five years, I say that I am glad I got into this business with this team. Today, we are here together with our expanding agency network.”

The share of agencies is 65 percent in the sector, 85 percent in our company

Mr. Erdemoğlu, who also gave messages to the agencies, said, “I must state that the share of agencies in our distribution channels is 85 percent compared to 65 percent in the sector. I would like to thank all our agencies for favoring us. I hope we have never shaken their trust in us. Our team will continue to bring new products in order to grow together in the future.”

Declaring Loss is also a Sign of Power

Maher Holding Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr. Levent Uluçeçen, on the other hand, emphasized that, as an insurance group, they made an investment with a plan considering 10 years ahead, and that the strength of the companies is derived from this approach. Company's growth statistics revealed that Quick Sigorta increased its equity 20 times in five years. Mr. Uluçeçen’s words “Declaring loss is also a sign of power. You cannot declare loss if you do not have the power to do so, instead you would hand over the company's keys” were met with applause from the agencies. Mr. Uluçeçen also noted that they will create a financial ecosystem by expanding in the field of finance with the newly established Quick Finans and QPAY Payment Services companies.

Maher Insurance Group achieved a 176% Growth Rate

Maher Holding Insurance Group President Mr. Ahmet Yaşar announced that Maher Holding Insurance Group, which includes Quick Sigorta and Corpus Sigorta, has achieved a 176% growth rate.

In the continuation of the event, Maher Holding Insurance Group President Mr. Ahmet Yaşar shared the growth figures of Quick Sigorta and Maher Insurance Group, and mentioned that they are the leading insurance group in the sector with insurance premium reaching 4.5 billion TL and a growth rate of 176%. Drawing attention to the fact that Quick Sigorta has grown eight-fold in five years since its establishment, that Corpus Sigorta has grown nine-fold and that the insurance sector has grown only 3.3 times in the same period, Mr. Yaşar said that success should be measured not only with premium but also with other works and balance sheet.

Quick Sigorta's Digital Development Continues at Full Speed

The presentations highlighting Quick Sigorta's place among the top 10 companies in Türkiye in the field of non-life insurance continued with the detailed data shared by Quick Sigorta General Manager Mr. Eyüp Özsoy, while information about the functioning of agencies was also shared. Subsequently, information was given about Quick Sigorta's 2023 targets and strategies, as well as projects such as "Agency not an Agent".

After Quick Sigorta's rich product range was emphasized with the motto of "Don't get stuck in traffic, there's more in Quick Sigorta", Quick Finans was launched specifically for agencies with the presentation of Quick Finans General Manager Mr. Nihat Karadağ, and it was explained how Quick Finans would benefit the agencies.

The meeting gained an interactive structure after the agents took the floor attracted great attention. Thereafter, the guests relieved their tiredness with the Anıl Selvi concert that was given in the evening of the same day.

The next day, at the 2022 Quick Insurance Sigorta Awards Night, where successful agencies are rewarded, 187 awards were awarded. At the gala night that took place after the award ceremony, Fettah Can took the stage and the guests had a pleasant time.
